We all have a sweet tooth at times and with fall on the cusp, some sweet organic treats will save your body if you make nutritionally dense treats that your body can actually burn and not store. I’m trying these this weekend! by @mindovermunch “Anyone else love the Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies? 😍😍😍Probably not as much as I do…😳😝 Holy Toledo… I can’t get enough of them. Unfortunately, they aren’t the most nutritionally sound 😔😣 NO WORRIES, though! I’ve developed a recipe that satisfies my craving in a healthy way… AND it packs the protein!👏👏 HOW? Check the main ingredient… BEANS!😱😱😱 You’ve got to give these a whirl!🌀🌀🌀 INGREDIENTS for cookie
1 cup white beans (cannellini beans)
1/2 cup oat flour
1 tsp coconut flour
3-5 Tbsp stevia (I used 3 and they weren’t as sweet to complement the frosting, so add more if you want them really sweet! Taste your batter, but keep in mind they are less sweet after cooking)
1/2 Tbsp honey (optional for sweetness. You could sub extra stevia)
1 Tbsp apple sauce
1 Tbsp greek yogurt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
INGREDIENTS for frosting
1/4 cup greek yogurt
1/2 cup lite cool whip
2 oz lite cream cheese, room temperature
2 Tbsp stevia (adjust to taste)
🍪Preheat oven to 350F.
🍪Combine all cookie ingredients in food processor. (It should yield a dough-like consistency. If it is too liquid-y, consider adding another tsp of coconut flour to thicken it. If it’s too thick, add a splash of almond milk.)
🍪Using a cookie scoop or Tbsp, place spoonfuls of dough on a baking sheet lined with foil and sprayed. Use your fingers to press the dough-balls down into a flat cookie shape. Each should be around 1.5-2” in diameter.
🍪Bake cookies for 18-22 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
🍪In the meantime, combine all frosting ingredients using a mixer. Store in refrigerator until cookies are cooled.
🍪Once cookies are baked and cooled, spread 1 heaping Tbsp of frosting on a cookie, and top with another cookie.
NUTRITION per cream pie (yields about 8 fully assembled cream pies– 16 individual cookies)
75 calories, 11g carbs, 2g fat, 3.5g protein

The Journey Begins…
So in class today I met 2 women, both super cool, both in bomb shape, both had awesome sculpted arms and super cute yoga outfits like neon leggings and those sweat angel tank tops. one said ‘spiritual gangster’ and the other had a smiley face when she sweat.
Anyway, being chatty, I of course introduced myself, and we began class. I nearly died. They both offered encouragement and smiles and nods of understanding. Super cool chicks! After class, I casually asked them how old they were and if they had felt any lower back pain, which of course they did, but both swore the healing powers of TRX and Pilates. I felt pretty good. And I was totally not ready for their ages.
The one to the left of me was 67. The one to the right, 52. I thought they were about the same age as me. HOT DAMN I think I have found the fountain of youth, and its all about finding the lifestyle where you can build and nourish your body instead of breaking it down and injuring it.
At least thats my impression today, day 1 of my new venture.
Look to what I woke up to this morning!!! I had completely forgot about it this morning and I was wondering why the dogs had been running up and downstairs since 5am!! I came downstairs and the whole house smelled amazing!! Ok Greek Yogurt Lovers (such as myself) I finally found a good product at #TraderJoes - remember all those label statements stating that the FDA says that there is nothing wrong with rBGH yet it’s banned in 61 other countries due to its proven carcinogen effect? Well yea, it’s actually mandatory for retail products to state that - thank you biotech lobbyists!- BUT if you read the statement right above the FDA’s toxic approval, FAGE (pronounced fah-yah I think) states that they opposed rBGH and that they pledge to not use rBGH in their products. That’s one way to be ethical when dealing with Monsanto funded FDA - so there you have it! finally - something good at #traderjoes - the ingredients list as cream, milk and live active cultures. How fortunate to meet and learn from the official BevMo Sommelier to ask questions and get lots of great info on #organic #wine and the #sulfite concern. Long story short, you want to find wines that not only say “made from organic grapes” but also state “no added sulfites” because the added salt, sodium, preservatives and sulfites add to preserving #bellyfat. This weekend will mark 3 weeks doing #PureBarre and my body is changing!! I see teeny tiny changes in my abs and by back rolls starting to go away!! Also my hip feels SO much stronger!! Shopper awareness time! Both products are labeled #organic - both products are from #traderjoes and both products are $2.99 BUT one has soy lecithin (high GMO origins and an additive used in preserving processed foods) and canola oil (high GMO probability) and one does not. The lesson here is that the food companies want your money and don’t give a rat’s ass about your health so take the extra 1.5 minutes to make the effort to turn the bottle over and READ the ingredients.
